Privacy Policy
1. Data Controller
2. Hosting and server log files
This website runs on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany). When you visit the site, the server processes technically necessary data that your browser sends automatically:
- IP address
- Date and time of access
- Page visited and referrer URL
- Browser type and operating system
This data is needed to deliver the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not combined with other data and is deleted automatically after a short time. We have a data processing agreement with Hetzner.
3. Contact form and email
When you write to us through the contact form or by email, we process the information you give us:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number and company name (optional)
- Project details (project type, budget, timeline, features) and your message
We use this data to answer your enquiry and, if relevant, to prepare an offer (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The enquiry is stored in our database on our server, and you receive an automatic confirmation email.
To protect against spam, we check whether the form was filled in automatically and limit the number of confirmation emails per address (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Visitor statistics with Umami
We use Umami, an open-source analytics tool that we run ourselves on our own server. No data is passed to third parties.
Umami does not use cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the pages visited, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, and country and region. Your IP address is not stored; it is only used briefly to determine the approximate location and to create an anonymous identifier that changes regularly. We cannot identify you from this data.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how our website is used and improving it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. Cookies and browser storage
This website does not set cookies and does not store any data in your browser. Fonts and all other files are loaded from our own server. No requests are sent to third parties when you visit.
6. Links to social networks
We link to our pages on Facebook and Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.). These are plain links: no data is transferred until you click a link and visit the platform. Meta’s privacy policy applies there.
7. Data retention
We store your data only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by law. Contact inquiries are typically deleted after 2 years unless a business relationship is established.
8. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: You can request information about your stored data
- Right to rectification: You can request correction of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure: You can request deletion of your data
- Right to restriction: You can request restriction of processing
- Right to data portability: You can receive your data in a portable format
- Right to object: You can object to processing
- Right to withdraw consent: You can withdraw given consents at any time
To exercise your rights, please contact us at info@dendigital.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
9. Data security
We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss, destruction, or unauthorized access. Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption for secure data transmission.
10. Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy as needed to comply with changing legal requirements or changes in our services. The current version is always available on this page.
